Aged “Blackguard” reproduction 1950’s pickguard

$240.00

I restore a lot of vintage Fender guitars and I needed an accurate bakelite early 50’s Tele pickguard reproduction. Nothing I could find was close enough, so I started making my own. These are the same pickguards that I use when restoring an early 50’s Fender Telecaster or Broadcaster or Esquire, with the same attention to detail. This is a perfect pickguard for your restoration, or for a really authentic replica build. Yes, they’re expensive for a pickguard, but very time consuming for me to make so they are priced accordingly.

These reproduction pickguards are made entirely in house, by hand, from sheets of black bakelite.  The pickguards are cut with a table router, sanded, shaped, finished with nitro lacquer, aged, and authentically made to look as close to the originals as possible.  No two will be exactly the same, but rest assured that yours will be amazing and authentic looking.
